A pencil drawing of my Grandfather back around the turn of the last century. My family raised mules and sold them to the US Army. I am sure some were sent to WW1. Family legend has it that my Grandfather's Uncle was a Pony Express Rider, that was never seen again. Another part of the family legend and lore is that Buffalo Bill Cody had bought one of our mules. He had a great respect for mules and would rather have a good mule than a horse for long distance travel.
